This site features the work of Diane Piccola, an artist creating unique, one of a kind treasures, all made from the over 30 varieties of hard shelled gourds. In 2001 at THE INTERNATIONAL GOURD ART FESTIVAL in Fallbrook CA., her doll "Batika" was featured on the cover of the program and created much activity and comment. Diane was also a guest on the Carol Duvall Show on H.G.T.V. and displayed and described the "Gourd Pins" she created.  Last year we participated in several shows, festivals and galleries and had a wonderful year. More current items of interest on the Gourd News page.
