GOURD ART BY RHONDA EPSTEIN
Rhonda Epstein has enjoyed working within many different art mediums.
She has used gourds as a canvas since 1999. She appreciates that gourds
offer a large variety of sizes and shapes and that they showcase many
different techniques that can be used in the process of creating art.
Rhonda has been juried into and sold pieces at both the
Shelter Island Art Association and the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park.
She has also shown and sold her works at galleries in Del Mar and Solana Beach.
Rhonda has enjoyed entering competitions and has won both
1st and 2nd place ribbons at the 2004 International Gourd Art Festival in Fallbrook.
